Fair Grounds - All Stakes PK5

R5 - Duncan F. Kenner $200K

#3 Euroears - The undefeated chestnut takes another step up in competition and looks ready for the challenge. If he breaks clean, the rest will have their work cut out for them.
#7 Roi Maudit - Winner of last 3 out 4 didn't care for the slop at GP and will be coming at Euroears late. SCR
#2 Noonmark - Coming off career best effort and talented enough to duplicate that performance.
#1 King of the Roxy - Hard to believe he's never gone 6 furlongs in his career, but if he's going to get back into graded races it will be sprinting.

R6 - G2 New Orleans Handicap $500K

#3 Grasshopper - Difficult to imagine any scenario that doesn't have him taking his picture. Looks to validate Mineshaft victory and propel himself as a serious contender in the handicap division.
#7 Magna Graduate - Has earned over $2mil and decided to face a tougher field instead of defending his crown at Oaklawn (Razorback).
#5 Brass Hat - Old warrior is training great for 2nd start of the year. Must be respected.
#2 Silver Lord - Lightly raced Grey will be cutting out the early fractions and hopes to hang on for a minor share.

R7 - G3 Mervyn Muniz Jr. Memorial Handicap $500K

#7 Fracas (Ire) - Makes U.S. debut for Tagg with 1st time lasix. Former Group 3 winner has been working well at Palm Meadows. The pick in a very contentious race.
#5 Elusive Fort (SAf) - Brings nice resume from his homeland and two promising tries in the U.S.. Slight improvement could spice up the ticket.
#8 Proudinsky (Ger) - Frankel super high on G3 winner. Will try and handle a different type of turf course here.
#10 Daytona (Ire) - Gelding is on a serious roll, but his only U.S. loses have come with Solis on his back. Should receive some pace pressure from Buffalo Man.

R8 - G2 Fair Grounds Oaks $400K

#1 Indian Blessing - 2yr old champ filly brings her flawless record to yet another match race with Proud Spell. Will have it her own way up front and will need her best to hold off her rival.
#2 Proud Spell - Third times a charm? Must hope one of the other two overmatched fillies apply a bit of pressure. She'll win her share this year.

R9 - G2 Louisana Derby $600K

#3 Pyro - He's on everyones short list of Derby hopefuls and looks to continue to stay on top. Looked like a freight train in the G3 Risen Star. I guess we should have of really known what kind of quality he had, when he was hanging with Curlin in the mornings.
#7 Blackberry Road - Always seems to have a rough trip and hopefully Robby can fix the problem. At this point he's look like an exotic ticket filler at best versus top competition.
#6 Tale of Ekati - Highly regarded colt makes his 3yr old debut. Showed some serious promise early in his career and now must translate that promise to the track to be considered a serious Derby threat. According to Tagg, he didn't care for the slop in the BC Juvy and didn't handle the surface at GP.
#1 Stevil - Difficult to leave Zito off the ticket. LaPenta grey tries two turns for the 1st time and was keeping some nice company in Florida.

PK5 - 3 / 3 / 1 2 3 5 7 8 9 10 / 1 2 / 3 6 7 = $48
Backup Tkt - 1 2 3 / 3 7 / 5 7 8 / 1 / 3 = $18

Aqueduct

R9 - G3 Gotham

#3 Roman Emperor - Continues to improve and has shown he can handle the inner track. Should get a nice stalking trip.
#10 Visionaire - Matz runner made a nice account for himself in the G3 Risen Star and his graded experience will help him in this spot.
#5 Southern Terminus - Failed at odds on in an Alw at GP, but looks to be forwardly placed in a wide open race.
#6 Holidaze - Successful in his routing debut and must take the next step forward.

R8 - G3 El Camino Real Derby $150K

#7 Behindatthebar - Makes 1st start for Pletcher after breaking his maiden at SA with a 89BSF.
#5 Tres Borrachos - Has stakes experience and is 1 of 2 with a win at the distance.
#8 Coast Guard - Scratched last week with foot issues. Has improved with every start including a nice 2nd in the RB Lewis at SA.
