100% chance we're off the blades as heavy weather most of the evening will give way to a chilly day at the downs - High winds forcasted and Florida sunshine should have us fast on the dirt by P4 time....I'll be at the draw for Tuesday and unable to update scratches, so here's what I got....

Race 9
7 Chirac
3 Alie's Doublecross
1 Crusin Casino
5 Breeze Keeper

Race 10 The Challenger 65K
Totally selling the favorites here( 2 Ivegottabeme, 7 Wayzata Bay and the 3 Imawildandcrazyguy) and fishing for a price
5 Riversrunalee
4 Archers Alyancer
8 Tytus
6 Birdbirdistheword

Race 11 should be off, but most look to run dirt fine and the AE's are turfers except the 13....
10 Seismatic
7 My Buddy Richie
8 Awesome Attitude
13 Mr. Guska

Race 12
6 Still Loving You
4 Exchange Artist
11 Truly Broadway

Big= 1,3,5,7//4,5,6,8//7,8,10,13//4,6,11 = 192.00
Small = 3,7//4,5,6,8//7,8,10,13//4,6 = 64.00

The more I look at the 10th, the more I think there will be a speed duel and it is setting up for the closers, Wayzata, Imawild, Birdbird and maybe I'vegotta.

Tytus will commit from the outside, Riversrun only wins on the front end (and will not have a 6 length lead at 46 and 4 today) and A Fleet will go from the rail. I don't know if any of these three will be around at the end.... I like Tytus the best of these three because I am sure HVG will go from the 10 post. If the other two get silly and try to rate, they may not catch Tytus. I am sure Ness would love to beat Centeno after he committed to Birdbird.

Under the weather today....tough to concentrate...

Pick 4

Race 9:

7 - Chirac - Nice debut. Moves up in class. Cibelli 23% second out. The one to beat.
1 - Cruisin Casino - Surprised at 41-1 in his debut. Turns back a half furlong and drops slightly in class.
6 - Double Duke - Got crushed in his debut, at only 8-1, but that was the toughest maiden race of the meet. Softer group and a series of patented KOC slow works. Surprise package....

Race 10:

2 - I'vegottabeme - Got beat by the best horse on the grounds in his last, nothing to be ashamed of. Has shown a stalking style sprinting and will need to do that today.
8 - Tytus - Winging it on the front end for Nesssss.
9 - Whos Crying Now - Will be flying late. Training like he's ready for a big one at CRC.

Race 11:

8 - Awesome Attitude - Will be flying late, can he get there in time?
1 - Blind River Fox - Addition of Centeno won't hurt. The cut back in distance won't hurt either. Will be in the mix on the front end from this post.
5 - Moment of Song - Woke up in last.

Race 12:

11 - Truly Broadway - Catalano on fire. Is It True filly been working solidly for debut.
8 - Three Islands - Catch me if you can....
6 - Still Loving You - Bullet in holster for debut.
7 - The Works - Ran evenly in her debut. Should enjoy the added distance. Scace 21% second out.
5 - Bubble Berry - Go Cannon....

Small Ticket:

1,7/2,8/1,8/5,6,7,8,11 = $40

Big Ticket:

1,6,7/2,6,8,9/1,5,8/5,6,7,8,11 = $180

For those that use the wind in their handicapping. We have a very strong wind today from the north which translates to being in the horse's faces on the backstretch and behind them coming home.

I think I'll make it, I'm a gamer....LOL. Real story is that I talked Mrs. Bigs into letting me out for the day.

Maybe not the whole card...we'll see.

22 and 46 and no closers. I've bet frontrunners at this class who go 25 and 50 and get caught.

Anyone know the background of Tytus(my pick)? Is he owned by the comedian or named after him?

Andrew Ramgeet had a brilliant ride in the 4th. I'm shocked he's won a race.

Thanks Bro. Was feeling okay until Wayzata Bay won the feature. He had only hit the board once in five Tampa dirt tries and suddenly today he's a monster.

The wind definitely caused some odd races and fractions. Can't believe Tytus was nowhere near a 48 and change pace...nice ride by HVG.
