R9 - Southwest Stakes 250K
#8 Denis of Cork - Showed his versatility and grit holding off the stubborn Unbridled Vicar in the FG slop last month. Borel chooses Turf War, so Robby picks up the assignment.
#3 Liberty Bell - Won a hard fought Smarty Jones at OP while going a route for the 1st time.
#5 Turf War - Deat Heat winner of the Delta Jackpot has been training well for '08 debut. Excelled on the conventional dirt. Older brother stamped himself as a serious contender in the handicap division last week.
#4 Sacred Journey - Has a ton of speed and talent. The question is can he hold the speed going two turns? Should hold on for a minor share.
Huge carryover for the President's Day Holiday

Good Racing Luck
Gus, your numbers on the bottom aren't matching the horses you have up top. Looks like you missed Race 7 after the single. You have the 4,5 in race 7 which look to be your race 8 horses.
Good luck today.

Nice pick on Dennis Gus.Thanks Cal, I've been a fan since his debut at CD. I really expect him to take the next step forward and cement himself as a force in the division. He's shown multiple gears and should relish the extra ground. Mr & Mrs. William Warren who owned 2005 Horse of the Year, Saint Liam, have a very nice colt.

Wonder if they might keep him at Oaklawn for the Rebel and Arkansas Derby?

Very impressive win in Race 9 for the undefeated 3 year old......a nice race that
he should build on. Gus you may be on to one to watch closely especially when it it comes Arkansas Derby time this spring. I was shocked to see he went off at 9/2 today...
