This pick 4 starts out with one of the worst renditions of a 8000N2L claimer
they have trotted out all meet. Yeesh.
Race 7 - Clm 8000 N2L 6.5f Dirt
2 - Truthsayer - Drops in from a bad effort against better at GP. Best connections in the race. Contreras/Montalvo
8 - All in CJ - Ran the best last race of anyone in this race...by far.
Race 8 - Alw 20200 N1X 8.5f Dirt
2 - Too Many Sins - Missed by three lengths in the Inagural (sprinting). Broke maiden going two turns.
5 - Dynamic Wayne - Looks to have been working with Too Many Sins. Also broke his maiden around two turns in Stickney.
Race 9 - MSW 20k 6.0f Dirt
2 - Flatter Me Blue - 2nd best against a runaway winner in his debut. A repeat of that effort may be enough here.
3 - Wynn a Tour - Working well for his debut. Northern Afleet 10% with firsters and the dam's other runner won and allowance race.
6 - Monteleone - Lures Centeno. Dixieland Band very good with firsters. Several 4 & 5f works at Palm Meadows should have him ready to go.
9 - Best Westerner - Blinkers, Lasix and a nice little gate work for this Cimarron Secret gelding. Oh yeah, you get Jamie Ness who is winning at a 38% clip this meet.
Race 10 - Clm 16000 8.5f Dirt
1 - Greylock - In good form since his arrival at Tampa. Rosario rides the rail, but must get this one to go past the leader.
9 - Hots Is Hot - Just missed at 66-1 against 25k platers in his last. Tends to finish second, but Jose Martinez seems to fit him like a glove.
10 - Bye Bye Beylen - Not sure what happened in his last, but this 9yr old ran well on the dirt in Dec as well as this summer at PrM.
Small Ticket:
2,8/2,5/2,3,6,9/1,9,10 = $48 paid $392.30
Big Ticket:
1,2,8/2,5/1,2,3,6,9/1,6,7,8,9,10 = $180 paid $392.30
GL to all playing today.

Bigs - Your Ticket is virtually identical to mine, I'm adding 11 Stricks Chairman as a longshot in first leg but honestly can't find one horse that wants to win this. Abismal. The turf still looks a little soft- gonna see if they stay on before looking at the last race, but I'm leaning toward 6 Castle Concert with the 4 and 9 and a couple of the AE's look enticing.

You'll get your odds on that one. He hasn't been lower than 40-1 in his last 10 races and has been triple digits in 5 of those 10. Wow.

That's better. I thought all your winning was going to your head and you were going to just toss money around like a crazy man with that 11 horse.

But I can't see the video, which drives me out of my mind. I have to wait until the results are posted. I am in internet hell, it's like I've gone back to the early 90's.

Nothing starts the betting day quite like a nice chalky lunch.
Any insight on the 2 horse in the 5th? FTS getting tons of early play.

I am a sucker for 2nd time starters (and chalk apparently) so playing the 7.
Biggie....any chance they will be back on the weeds tomorrow? 2 of the late 4 races are scheduled for the turf. I don't want to handicap for nothing.

I'd say they'd be on Kev.... We got a metric f**k ton of rain Tuesday night - some places got 4 inches overnight...All depends how bad thy got it in Oldsmar - For what it worth I just mowed my yard and it still a little soft - not quite yielding :D

Thanks Bigs. The only reason I played today other than the fact that SA is underwater was the success you guys have all been having at TBD. I might become a TB regular.

6 Monteleone 2nd
9 Best Westerner
3 Wynn a Tour WON
2 Flatter Me Blue late SCR
If the 8 didn't slam the 7 horse into Monteleone out of the gate, he is an easy winner at 4-1. He had to come from way back, one to watch next time out.

Absolutely. I didn't get to watch the race that closely but it seemed like he broke in awkwardly. Stack of domino's outside of him answers a few questions - got him on my watch list for sure
Getting ready to tackle the Saturday card - hopefully will get by at least for a few of 'em, I need to get to the bookkeeper's and I'd like to get back to see Wicked Sweet with the folks, so I should be for there at least a little while tomorrow..
