yes. 10th overall (want to say there were about 3000 in that one). I normally do pretty good at the internet contests. Haven't won one of these eliminator types yet, but had top 25 twice at Calder, 10th at SA and 5th at Churchill. Lots of top 100's.
Also done very well with the other free internet contests (was 1st for the week of 12/16 for Brisnet's race of the day, won youbet.net's $100 contest on Christmas eve... 4th time I've won that one).

It makes sense that small fields increase the probability of staying alive in this contest. My favorite tracks are Arlington b/c I live in Illinois and get there about once a month during the meet and Santa Anita, so I am hoping they get full fields.

Thank you so much for the effort, but please do not worry about it. I only asked because the contests at Monmouth and the Meadowlands included free pp for it's contest races. But then again, they only involved 3 races in the contest. With every race eligible for the SA contest, basically they would be giving out free pp's for the entire meet.

That isn't a bad idea, and I am sure SA could incorporate this into the contest, but it would probably be a good idea to ask the player if they want an email every day, giving them a choice.

Today = SCRAPPED. We should have known since their was no picks, there would be no racing.

im still hanging in there as well as my significant other.... she usually does better than me at those things... I handicap the heck out of a race... give her the top 2,3, or 4 she asks who the jockeys and trainers are.... and I am ALWAYS out before she is.... go figure????? at least she doesn't go by color... She won a big college bowl pool a few years back... $20 entry and 1200 pay out.... by going with the college nick-names... almost caused me to give up gambling...

Same here. When I saw the scratches, I initially switched pick to Indian Blessing and then I unfortunately switched back to Turn Away. Not sure what happened to cause the horse to finish last (as Bejarano quit riding her around the final turn).
