On Saturday's "Down the Stretch" they said a capping seminar was being held at the Racing Museum this Saturday at 4pm.

Do you have any idea the sort of format they are going to use?

Panel discussion of the 11 BC races. Panelists are Mark Cusano, Dick Powell and yours truly.
We'll have video clips of some significant races and while it's a bit early (no post positions etc) for hard core handicapping, each capper will discuss horses they think may be contenders and why. They will have PP's for guests, and they usually do a few raffles as well. If you come by, introduce yourself.

Thanks and I will. :)

Will they televise this on OTB too?

I dont think the Museum event will be televised. They have no cameraman.
The OTB seminar next Wednesday evening will be webcast live. I think that they may air it on Thu or Fri morning as well.

So who did Linny and the other panellists like? Unfortunately I got to Saratoga about 12 hours too late...

A week out, and w/o post draws I tend to like High Finance to hit the board in the Dirt Mile, though I'm not sure about him winning.
The 2yo fillies are a bizarre lot and I still like Proud Spell who has been over looked.
The colt I like in the Juvie is Tale of Ekati. I also think that Globalization could do well and hit the TRI or SUPER.
The Distaff is a mess but I love Lear's Princess.
The grass mares could be at Passage of Time's mercy, I really had liked Mrs Lindsay.
I like Kip Deville alot in the Mile and think ol' Better Talk Now will run well.
I love Curlin but fear a less fast pace than many predict.

The other races show no standout to me and w/o post positions I have yet to figure a pace setup. The grass baby race is very tricky but I'm against Prussian, as is Cusano.

Last minute plans kept me from going but someone told me the seminar had a great turnout.
