Predictably fun and frenetic Saturday of action coast to coast, starting with Turfway KY Cup opener around 2:30 EST, and not ending until Oklahoma Classics Distaff at 11:00pm CST! OK-bred Evening at Remington was tremendously enjoyable with presentatation of Classic trophy to Von Hemel for his stalwart mare D Fine Okie's heriocs a real honor.

Day's highlights included absolutely thrilling wins by Factual Contender (NYB stake), Lahudood (Flower Bowl), Trippi's Storm (Kelso), Classic Campaign (Carey) and Tiago (Goodwood) as well as hard-earned triumphs by Hard Spun (KY Cup Classic), Student Council (HAW Gold Cup), Nashoba's Key (Yellow Ribbon) and Cry and Catch Me (Oak Leaf). Full coverage of the weekend action Monday with Jockey Club Gold Cup Day at Belmont and the Norfolk (OSA) yet to come today.
