Predictably fun and frenetic Saturday of action coast to coast, starting with Turfway KY Cup opener around 2:30 EST, and not ending until Oklahoma Classics Distaff at 11:00pm CST! OK-bred Evening at Remington was tremendously enjoyable with presentatation of Classic trophy to Von Hemel for his stalwart mare D Fine Okie's heriocs a real honor.
Day's highlights included absolutely thrilling wins by Factual Contender (NYB stake), Lahudood (Flower Bowl), Trippi's Storm (Kelso), Classic Campaign (Carey) and Tiago (Goodwood) as well as hard-earned triumphs by Hard Spun (KY Cup Classic), Student Council (HAW Gold Cup), Nashoba's Key (Yellow Ribbon) and Cry and Catch Me (Oak Leaf).
